Whole Body MRI does not include detailed joint scans such as knees, hips, shoulders or elbows. It also does not include a dedicated diagnostic spine MRI.
Dedicated body-area scans
Choose up to 4 dedicated body-area scan packages. This is ideal for a specific symptom, injury, joint, body region or area of concern.Full Spine: £700 and counts as one standalone selection package.
Full Spine option
If you need the cervical spine, thoracic spine and lumbar spine scanned together, choose the Full Spine option rather than selecting the three separate spine areas.Reporting upgrades

What happens after your MRI scan?
Once your scan is complete, your images are reviewed by a consultant radiologist with a specialism relevant to the type of scan you’ve had.
They’ll carefully review your images and produce a detailed report, which will be uploaded to your patient health portal alongside your MRI images — giving you permanent access to both.
What happens next will depend on the findings in your report. If your images need to be sent to the relevant NHS or private healthcare provider, we’ll take care of that for you.
You don’t have to navigate the next steps alone. The New Horizons Imaging team is here to support you throughout the process. 💙
